Notice Regarding Yen Payments for 2026 Tours

Effective January 1, 2026, Tohoku Travel will no longer accept payments in Japanese Yen.

For customers who wish to pay in Yen for 2026 tours, payment must be made directly to Yokohama Travel in Japan upon arrival.

If you would like to pay in Yen in advance, please complete the payment by December 31, 2025.

TOHOKU TRAVEL WILL BE CLOSED

🦃 In celebration of Thanksgiving, our office will be closed from Monday, November 24th, through Friday, November 28th.
We will resume regular business hours on Monday, December 1st.

The tradition of giving thanks has deep roots in American history. The holiday traces back to early harvest celebrations held by Indigenous peoples and was later shared with early settlers during the 17th century. Over time, Thanksgiving became a national day of gratitude, formally recognized in 1863 when President Abraham Lincoln designated it a day to give thanks for our blessings and unity. Today, Thanksgiving continues to be a time for reflection, appreciation, and gathering with family and friends. 🍂
